Jody is a lifelong entrepreneur who founded and later sold a successful professional services firm. Amy, an expert in sustainable design and former 3D apparel designer, spent years helping some of the world’s best known brands adopt advanced product development technologies.

Together, we bring an inventor's curiosity, a designer’s eye, a steward’s respect for resources, and a shared love of outdoor adventures to everything we create.

Our first product, Hikas ®, began with one of Jody’s longtime trail frustrations: keeping scree, snow and ticks out of her footwear without the discomfort or complexity of traditional gaiters. 

Amy helped transform that idea into a modern, patented solution now being enjoyed by thousands of outdoor enthusiasts across the country and around the world. 

Since launching our original Hikas, we’ve added both Knee-high and kids versions, as well as a series of puffy accessories that are irresistibly practical and fun.
